Georges F. Leger

Georges Leger was a father, brother, uncle and friend to many people in the community. Georges Leger passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 28, 2026 at the age of 87. He was born on March 29, 1939 to Gracieuse Leger and Beauvais Olivier in Cayes, Haiti. He loved Rockland and considered Nyack to be his home. Georges was a confi dent, hard working man survived by 3 children (Malval, Frantz, and Snerly). As the years passed, the family grew and Georges is now also survived by his 4 grandchildren (Elin, Allisha, Darly, Eleno).

Growing up, Georges Leger was a man who enjoyed life, and accomplished many of his goals in order for many of his family members to come together. He was a man of great character, and was full of life lessons to give to all members of his family.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St Paul's Catholic Church, 82 Lake Rd, Congers, NY 10920, US, on October 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake Rd, Congers, NY 10920, US, on October 10, 2026, from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm.
