Gerald Guidali

Gerald “Bimpa” Guidali of Mesa AZ , Born August 8th 1938, Bronx NY , passed away peacefully, alongside his beloved wife, Evelyn Guidali, on July 28, 2026.He was a devoted husband , father, and grandfather .Born with a passion for creativity and design, Gerald attended the School of Industrial Art in New York before earning his Bachelor’s degree from the Pratt Institute of Technology. A man of dedication and honor, he also proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Army.On November 9, 1963, Gerald married the love of his life, Evelyn, in a beautiful ceremony at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Together, they built a life centered entirely around their deep love for their family.He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Evelyn, and their beloved daughter, Adria and his parents , Aldo and Margaret.Gerald’s legacy of love and commitment lives on through his surviving family. He is survived by his daughter, Aimee Guidali Papakalodoukas, and her husband, Tom; his sister, Lola Pizzuco; his granddaughter, Jaclynn Guidali McDonald, and her husband, Dustin; and his granddaughter, Shannon Day. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all the lives he touched .A joint visitation/ celebration of life for Gerald and Evelyn will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home. in New City, New York. A joint Mass will follow at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony's Church in Nanuet, New York. Burial will take place at 12:30 PM at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
