At the Hôpital de Thetford Mines, on September 9, 2026, died at the age of 86 years and 2 months, Mme Ghislaine Fortin, wife of the late Jacques De Sales, residing in Adstock, sector Saint-Méthode.
From the Fortin family, she was the daughter of Cécile Gosselin and Roméo Fortin. She leaves behind brothers and sisters: Carmen (Claude Talbot), Hélène (Normand Lavoie), Lisette (André Nadeau), the late Jean-Claude, Jean-Marc (Colette Trépanier), Gaétan, Francine (André Jacques), Gaston (Guylaine Fortin), Mario, Yvan, and Pierre (France Carrier).
She was also touched by her departure by her nephews and nieces, as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 am to 12:45 pm at the Centre funéraire Gamache & Nadeau Ltd., located at 590, rue St-Alphonse Sud, Thetford Mines.
Family and friends are invited to join the family for a memorial ceremony to be held on Saturday, October 3, at 1:00 pm, at the Chapel of the Centre funéraire Gamache & Nadeau Ltd.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Manoir Valin as well as the Thetford hospital for the good care provided to Mme Ghislaine Fortin.
