Gilles St-Amand, aged 76, died at his residence in Lévis on July 1, 2026. He was the husband of Madeleine Germain St-Amand and the son of the late Bruno St-Amand and Rosa Francoeur. Gilles left behind his children Cédric (Anne-Marie Lemay) and Cynthia, his grandchildren Émile and Jeanne, along with brothers and sisters and extended family. The family expressed gratitude towards the doctors who cared for him, and condolences were shared through messages of sympathy. A funeral service was scheduled at the Complexe Claude-Marcoux de Lévis, with a gathering from 1 PM and a ceremony at 3 PM.
