Girttie Muriel Stephens

Girttie Muriel Stephens, 85, of Paris, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19th at the Pavilion of Long Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the pavilion from 2 – 3 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Stephens, the daughter of Charlie “Bill” Wilkerson & Clara Ann Tucker Wilkerson, was born May 16, 1940, in Lamar County, Texas.

Her career with Hollywood Vasarette spanned 40 years before her retirement in 1998. She then worked at Formal Fantasy Bridal Boutique & Tanning Salon.

Girttie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mack Stephens , and her siblings, Joann Taylor, Charles Wilkerson, and Patsy Wynn.

Survivors include three children, Ron Ruthart & wife Doreen, John Ruthart, and Taniki Rotolo, grandchildren, Zach Rotolo & wife Savannah and their son, J. J. Rotolo, Josh Rotolo, and Matthew Rotolo and several nieces & nephews along with a host of friends.
