Gisèle Bernard Bizier

At the regional hospital of Thetford, on August 5, 2026, passed away at the age of 94, Mrs. Gisèle Bernard, wife of the late Mr. Clément Bizier, residing in Thetford Mines.

She leaves to mourn her daughters: Lise Bizier (Pierre Lessard) and France Bizier (Michel Corriveau).

She was the grandmother of: Marie-Eve Lessard (André Lemaire), Amélie Lessard (Kevin Hamel), Olivier Corriveau (Josée-Eve Poulin), great-grandmother of: Béatrice Lemaire, Anne Sophie and Simon Hamel and Amalia Corriveau.

From the Bernard family, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Bernard and the late Alice Latulippe, the sister of: the late Fernand (the late Cécile St-Laurent), Laurian, Father Aurélien, Paul, Yvon (Thérèse Labbé), Gaëtan (Nicole Fagnan), Roger (the late Michèle Landry).

From the Bizier family, she was also the sister-in-law of: the late Luce (the late Azade Noël), Maurice (the late Marguerite Roy), Marcelle (the late Thomas Lessard), Suzanne (the late Conrad Lafontaine), Gérard (the late Rita Desrochers), Denise (the late Denis Poulin) and Claire (the late Jean Faucher).

Her departure also affects her nephews and nieces from many other relatives and friends including her friends from Villa Pie XI.

Condolences can be offered to the family on Saturday, August 29 from 2 pm to 3:45 pm at the Gamache & Nadeau Funeral Center, 590 St-Alphonse South, Thetford Mines.

Family and friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service on Saturday, August 29 at 4 pm at the Chapel of the Gamache & Nadeau Funeral Center.
