She was born on July 5, 1950 in Chattanooga, TN.She was preceded in death by her father, Willis Tate; mother, Thelma Tate; brothers, Jerry Tate and Ronnie Tate; and grandson, Larry Ransom, Jr.Gladys is survived by her daughter, Pamela Burks of Huntsville, AL; son, Raymond Tate of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughter, Carlmela Ransom; grandsons, Darrell Burks and Cornelius Burks; and granddaughter, Cherrelle Burks, all of Huntsville, AL; great grandchildren, Brittany Ransom, Roosevelt Sidney, Ra'Niya Sidney, Cardarius Sidney, Ro'Miya Sidney and Shavonna Ransom all of Huntsville, AL; great great grandchild, Tyamir Sanderson of Huntsville, AL; other relatives and friends.
