Grace Marie Mortensen, 92, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026. She was born in Bethel, Connecticut on January 15, 1934 to William and Eugenia Ludwig.
Grace retired from Stanadyne in Windsor, Connecticut, before moving to Lehigh Acres, Florida. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres.
Grace is survived by her children, Patricia (Francis) Marks and William Brown; grandchildren, Daniel (Kristen) Marks, James (Nicole) Marks, and Matthew Marks; and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Reagan and James.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Mortensen, and her sons, Roland and Michael Brown.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, Florida, on Friday, August 28, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Grace’s name may be made to St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2514 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres, FL 33971.
