Gregory Paul Duncan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Paul Duncan at his home on July 27, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on October 19, 1960, in Sitka, Alaska, Greg was predeceased by his father, Paul Duncan, and his sister, Natalie Duncan. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan Hovey-Duncan; his daughter, Erin Asbil-Duncan (Sean Rediker); his son, Clement Surprenant (Domaine Morin); his cherished grandchildren, Easton, Everly, and Cade; his mother, Dorothy Linberg Duncan; his sister, Lynnea; his brother, Bruce; his niece, Allessa Duncan-Clair; his dear friend, Laurie Asbil, mother of Erin; as well as many extended family members and dear friends. Greg will be remembered for his love of music, his talent as a writer and communicator, his involvement in the community, and the many friendships he made throughout his life. His kindness, generosity, quick wit, and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Details regarding a celebration of Greg’s life will be shared at a later date.
