Guy Dante Vitaglione passed on July 15, 2026, at the age of 56.He was born in New York City on January 26, 1970, to parents Frances Everitt and Thomas Joseph Vitaglione.Guy was the first in the Vitaglione family to earn a doctorate degree. He taught psychology at West Virginia Tech University and later took on the position of assistant dean of online education at Campbell University. In his last month, while not in the best of health, he made the heroic trip to South Korea so he could give his daughter the gift of his presence at her wedding. He is survived by his parents, his beloved wife, Susannah, and two daughters, Grace and Ella.A memorial service will be held on July 25 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cary, NC.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center or St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
