It is with a heavy heart, but filled with precious and humorous memories, that we announce the passing of Mr. Guy Lériger De Laplante, who died on August 17 at the age of 88. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
A kind and mischievous man, he leaves behind his children from his first marriage with the late Thérèse Germain: Gilles De Laplante, Claude De Laplante, Lynda De Laplante (Andrew Robinson), his grandchildren Stéphanie Frénette, Tristan Bonin-De Laplante, Laurie De Laplante, Jade De Laplante-Robinson, and his three great-grandchildren. As well as his wife, Micheline Landry, and the children of her, Sylvie Lépine (Michel Laflamme), Michel Lépine (Caroline Fortier), Natacha Landry (Domaine Voyer) and their grandchildren.
We invite you to celebrate his life and pay him a final tribute on Sunday, 13 September 2026.
The family will receive condolences from 09:00 to 17:00 at the Grande Montreal Funeral Cooperative located at 635, boul. Curé Poirier Ouest in Longueuil, and a commemorative ceremony will take place at the same location at 13:00.
The family would like to warmly thank the staff of the 7th floor South of the Pierre Boucher Hospital for the good care given.
