Heather Anne Schaber passed away on Friday, September 11th, 2026 at the James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State. She was born in Columbus on August 5, 1968 to John E. “Jack” and Nancy Lou Schaber.
She is survived by her sister, Lisa J. Schaber (Sean C Schaber) of Caldwell, Ohio; Uncle, Donald C Shepard, Jr; and Aunt, Sandy Shepard of Elmira, New York; cousins: Karen, Jill, Valerie and Julie; and many great friends.
She was a longtime employee of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and was currently employed by Macy’s and Co. Traveling and shopping were favorite activities with her sister Lisa.
Known as H-Bomb to many, she was an avid concert goer, a foodie and an over the top Buckeye fan with so many friends.
Visitation (10am - 11am)and Funeral Service (11:00am) will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1581 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43212 on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Heather will be laid to rest with her parents and grandparents at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Elmira, New York.
