Helen Berne passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on October 1, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York.
Helen made her home in Aventura, Florida. She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Jack Berne; her four children; her brother; many cherished grandchildren; and all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at:Temple Sinai of North Dade18801 NE 22nd AvenueMiami, FL 33180The service will be followed by a Committal Service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at:Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery1125 NW 137th StreetMiami, FL 33168Shiva will follow the interment at the Williams Island Club Room, 3000 Williams Island, and will continue until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shiva will resume on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
