Working in the main office at the Great Neck School System until her 80s, Helen remained remarkably independent and engaged with life until just three weeks ago, when she was hospitalized with pneumonia. A familiar and beloved presence at North Shore Towers, Helen delighted in playing canasta three days a week and was the scorekeeper, a reflection of both her sharp mind and love of community. Her enduring warmth, resilience, curiosity, and deep love for her family and close friends leave a lasting legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.
