Helena Markovich Brown

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Helena Brown, who passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, at the age of 80.

Helena was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Dennis Brown.

She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Suzy and Chris Potter, and her grandchildren, Alexa and Aaron Potter, all of Woodstock, Georgia; and her daughter, Juliette Brown, of Cedartown, Georgia.

Born in Northamptonshire, England, Helena made the United States her home and became a proud U.S. citizen. She was a beloved resident of Acworth, Georgia, for nearly 50 years.

Helena was a proud military wife and a retired travel agent, careers that reflected two things she cherished deeply: family and travel. A lifelong traveler, she had the opportunity to visit many countries and destinations throughout her life, collecting memories and experiences that she treasured.

Helena will be remembered for the life she built, the places she explored, and, most importantly, the love she gave to her family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
