HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR
Passed away peacefully in his 97th year on July 4, 2026. Beloved father and father-in-law of Annie & Michael and Debbie & Frank. Husband of the late Didy zl. Adored son of Aron and Lisette.
Henry was unique and truly a one of a kind character, shaped by the many challenges and experiences he faced over his lifetime. He was resilient and the eternal optimist. He was solution driven, and he often really did make the impossible possible to many people’s shock and wonder. His business acumen, his wit coupled with his sense of humor made him a great talent as a raconteur, mostly about his life experiences. He was unpretentious and modest, and truly content with his life, his family, his friends and his successes.
He leaves a huge void in our lives.
With our infinite appreciation to Dr. Annick Gauthier, Nicole Pidling, and the dedicated staff of Mount Sinai Hospital 4th floor. A very special thank you to Dr. Goldie Marmor for her many years of tender care.
Donations in Henry’s memory may be made to the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, 514-369-2222, ext. 31299, or click here.
A private funeral service was held.
