Imogene Loos Kupfernagel, 99, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026. She was born January 29, 1927, in Victoria, to the late Edward and Pattie Cook Loos. She was a longtime member of Baptist Temple Church.
Gene is survived by her daughters, Debbie Rakowitz (Billy Blevins) of Victoria and Kelly Drost (Thomas) of Fort Worth. She was a wonderful grandmother to Sydney Sek (Andrew), Taylor Drost and Melanie Garcia (David) and great grandchildren Chloe and Ciara Garcia.
Gene was a wonderful cook and showed her love through gifts of her delicious pies. She passed her love of gardening to her daughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Travis Kupfernagel on June 15, 1996.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 9:30am at Colonial Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 10am. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery in Terryville.
