Iraida J. Borges lived a life as vibrant and resilient as the orchids she loved. Born in Ciego de Avila, Cuba, she built a 50-year legacy in Miami with her business, J&J Rattan. She was the unshakable rock of her family. She was a woman of fierce determination who never gave up, and while she could drive us all crazy with her spirited personality, she loved us even harder.
Whether she was filling the house with music, sharing a meal, or dancing like no one was watching, Iraida’s joy was infectious. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of nature design and a spirit that will never be forgotten.
She leaves her two daughters, and her five grandchildren, who will forever carry her laughter and her stories in their hearts.
