Glasford ~ Irma Margaret Uphoff, 94, of Peoria, formerly of Glasford, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.She was born on January 9, 1932 in rural Hanna City, a daughter of Edward J. Kroepel and Marie (Fischer) Kroepel.Irma married Donald J. "Jake" Uphoff on June 30, 1951 in Glasford. She is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She was the Postmaster for Edwards, Illinois Post Office, retiring in 1993 after 25 years.Irma was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in rural Glasford and the Red Hat Society.Her funeral is scheduled for July 24, 2026, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in rural Glasford.
