AFTERGLOW I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughter that we’ve shared together. My memories are all I have to keep my loved ones close to me. To the living, I am gone, to the sorrowful, I will never return, to the angry, I was cheated, but to the happy, I am at peace, and to the faithful, I have never left.
