- At the CHUS Hôtel Dieu, surrounded by all the love of his loved ones, on September 21, 2025, he passed away at the age of 72. He was the husband of Suzette Houle, son of the late Cécile Bédard and the late Laurent Letendre. He lived in Sherbrooke, formerly of Rouyn-Noranda.
- Along with his wife, Mr. Letendre leaves behind his daughters Claudie (Jean-François Rivet-Gagné) and Cathy (Martin Bourgault), and his grandchildren Lily-Rose, Mathias, Maxym, Simon, and Gérémy.
- He was the brother of Lucie (Paulin Guilbert), Denise (Brian Speirs), Nicole (the late Miroslav Orsovi), Pauline (the late Jacques Bérubé), Rachel (Jean St-Georges), and the late Marie Jacqueline.
- He was the brother-in-law of Yvon (Marguerite Couture), Réjeanne (Denis Lemieux), Colette (Roger Aubin), Louisanne (Charles Bouchard), Jean-Marc (Pauline Pronovost), Clément, Léonard, Maryse (Michel Rivard), and Lucette (Gilles Shink).
- He also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
- The family would like to thank all the palliative care staff at CHUS Hôtel Dieu in Sherbrooke for the good care given to Mr. Letendre.
