James "Jim" Frank Pappas

April 17, 2026 Dignity Memorial

James “Jim” Pappas, founder of ECS Imaging, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy defined by vision, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the people around him.

Jim was an entrepreneur in the truest sense. With determination and a clear belief in delivering real value, he built ECS Imaging from the ground up into a respected and successful organization surpassing a 30-year legacy. What began as a new career after Honeywell, his vision grew into a company that impacted countless clients, and created meaningful careers for so many. His leadership was steady, his expectations were high, and his belief in his team never wavered. He always believed in doing right by the customer, employees and business partners.

Jim’s legacy lives on through the company he built, the culture he shaped, and the people he influenced along the way. He served our country in the Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy for 40 years, Daughters Sherri and Debbi, Son Doug , Grandchildren Peter and James, his family in Greece; Sister Helen, Nephew Bill, his Wife Alexandria and their 3 Children Christina, Constantine and Eleni. His family was at the center of his life, and supported him throughout his journey. Their strength and love were a constant source of pride and joy for him!

Jim will be deeply missed and long remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was strong and ‘Jim’ all of his 91 years. May he rest in peace, and in our hearts forever.
