Jean E. Stone, 79 of Little River, SC, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026. The loving wife of William Stone, they were married for 43 years. Jean was born on September 17, 1947 in Richmond, ME and the daughter of the late Kenneth G. and Eleanor Dorothy (Wildes) Gilpatrick. She is also survived by her children; Robert Pelletier, Penny Curtis, Terry Pelletier, and Tammy Blake; two stepsons, Daniel Stone and James Stone; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren; her two brothers, Dale Gilpatrick and Keith Gilpatrick; and a sister, Joan Gilpatrick. She was preceded in death by a stepson; Carlton Stone, two sisters: Sandra Trask, and Norma Johnson, four brothers; Clinton Gilpatrick, Bradley Gilpatrick, Rickey Gilpatrick, Gary Gilpatrick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
