Jean Miller Selph, age 82, passed away peacefully at home in Jacksonville, Florida on August 23, 2026. She was born on May 24, 1944, in Hilliard, Florida, to Frankie and Othar Miller.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie and Othar Miller, and her son, Michael E. Selph (Rick).
Jean leaves behind her children, Jimmy W. Selph, Jr., Karen (Jay) Williams, Sherry (Glenn) Wright, and Nathan Kinney as well as four grandsons, Chad Williams, Scott Wright, Aaron Wright and Brendan Wright, two granddaughters Melissa Selph and Katlyn Selph, and one great-grandson, Kaius. She is also survived by her brother Ed (Claudia) Miller and two nieces, Gail (Goober) Alexander and Leslie Massengill.
Jean will be remembered for her love of family and especially, the love she had for her grandchildren. We know that everyone in Heaven is hearing about every accomplishment of her children and grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on September 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, located at 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, Florida 32225 with Chaplain Jackie Hayes officiating.
