Jerry Edward Allred, 86, of Climax, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026 at his home.
He served in the United States Army and had also been employed in retail as an assistant store manager, retiring from Kmart after 30 years of service. He enjoyed farming, cutting wood, and playing golf, and was an avid collector of baseball cards and comic books. He also dedicated his time to young people in the community by coaching basketball at Grays Chapel School for many years. A devoted husband and father who loved his family, he is already dearly missed.
