Joanne Breton, of Ville-Marie, passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 71. She was the daughter of Rosaire Breton and Juliette Larabé. She is survived by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gaétan, and nephew Éric. She did not have an funeral service, and her family thanks the hospital staff and home support team for their care. A donation to the Ville-Marie Hospital Foundation was suggested as a memorial.
