It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John Bernèche.
He passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 73. He was the husband of France Johnson and the son of the late Lucien Bernèche and the late Léontine Bélanger. Besides his wife, he leaves behind his daughter Caroline, his sons Kevin and Eric, his grandchildren Miguel and Fanny, Layla, Raphaël, his great-grandchildren Mathis and Mavrick, as well as the children of his partner Mickaël and Danick. He also leaves his brothers Bertrand, Normand, Gilbert, Guy, Luc, and André, and his sister Jeanne. Many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends also mourn his loss.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 1369, boul. La Vérendrye O. in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 9:15 AM.
