John Edward Lowe, age 81, of Raleigh passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at his home.
He was the son of the late June Adrian and Elizabeth Shepherd Lowe and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sylvia Lowe Kirkman and Shirley Lowe Teague; and two brothers, Joe D. Lowe and Jan G. Lowe.
Surviving is his son, John Ashley Lowe (Adriana); grandsons, Jeremiah Lowe, James Lowe and John B. Lowe; sisters, Sarah Lowe Williams and Sandra Lowe Dixon (Warren); and brother, James F. Lowe (Barbara).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 659 S. Fayetteville Street, Liberty, NC. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall for a time of visitation following the service.
