John Franklin Birdwell, age 89, of Birdwell Mill Road, Greeneville, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Johnson City Medical Center.He was a farmer and dental lab tech and attended Cedar Creek Church of God as long as his health permitted. He was a member of Beersheba Lodge, Shriners, and the National Rifle Association. He was also the last charter member of the Greene County Angus Association.He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone. He loved his John Deere tractors, his cattle and taking his family out to eat.
