John Henry Caldwell, 81, passed on September 30, 2026. Born on September 20, 1945, in Childersburg, Alabama, he was a resident of Childersburg, Alabama.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Caldwell; his daughter, Tammy Mims (Jackie), his son, Shane Caldwell, his stepdaughter, Michelle Coleman (Ray), and his stepson, Michael Haisten; his grandchildren, Kasey Littleton (Chad), Kayla Butler (Andy), Jarrod Mims (Kelsey), Heidi Harvell (Troy), and Brent Caldwell (Taylor); his great-grandchildren, Anna Leigh Littleton, Charlie Littleton, Olivia Butler, Carly Butler, Jaxson Mims, Evelyn Mims, Houston Harvell, Hunter Harvell, Hollis Harvell, Cooper Jack Caldwell, and Bryce Caldwell; and his sister, Rebecca Peoples.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Neta Caldwell; his first wife, Victoria Caldwell; and his granddaughter, Robin Leigh Mims.
Visitation will be held at Childersburg Church of God, 801 9th Ave SW, Childersburg, AL 35044, on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on October 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm with Bro. David Bearden officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod Mims, Jackie Mims, Brent Caldwell, Troy Harvell, Andy Butler, and Chad Littleton.
