John Madril

John Alexander Madril, 72, passed away peacefully on his birthday on April 24, 2026.

Born on April 24, 1954, John lived a life centered on love, family, and quiet devotion to those closest to him. He was a good man, a wonderful husband, and a great father whose steady presence and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John was a devoted family man and homebody who found his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. He was a passionate Bay Area sports fan and faithfully cheered on the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and Golden State Warriors throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and George.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vera; his children Teresa, John, Steve, Vicki, and Laura; his brothers Louis, Mike, Jose, and Randy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His cherished grandchildren Dan, Joseph, Dimitri, Sarina, Caylie, Mia, Jackson, Elisabeth, and Jeffrey. He also leaves behind the joyful anticipation of welcoming his great-granddaughter, Adalynn, who is expected to be born in August 2026.

John’s love, loyalty, and dedication to his family will remain his lasting legacy. He will be remembered for his warmth, his steadfast love for those around him, and the many lives he touched through his kindness and presence.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
