José De Melo, born in 1935, passed away at the age of 91 in Montréal. He was the husband of the late Maria Modesto. He leaves behind his children Helena (Joel), Liliana (Luciano), Zita (Gianfranco), Aida (Angelo), Humberto (Mariella), Nancy (Domenic), grandchildren Gianluca, Massimo, Victoria, Stefania, Jonathan, Selina, Damiano, Daniele, Kiara, Vanessa, Bianca, Michael, and Cristian, as well as his in-laws, nephews, nieces, parents, and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex in Montréal-Nord on August 3, 2026, with funeral service scheduled for August 4, 2026, at the Santa Cruz Church in Montréal and burial at Laval Cemetery.
