Jose Manuel Aguilar, 69, of Montgomery Village, Maryland, passed away on August 19, 2026. He was born on November 12, 1956, in Peru.

Manuel came to the United States in pursuit of a better future for his wife and children. Everything he worked for and every sacrifice he made was rooted in his love for his family. Through years of hard work and determination, he gave his children a life filled with opportunity and a foundation upon which they could build futures of their own. Few things brought him greater pride than seeing his family succeed, and he celebrated each of their accomplishments as if it were his own.

Manuel was a devoted husband and an extraordinary father. He was strong, intelligent, loving, and deeply committed to the people he loved. He sacrificed so much throughout his life to ensure that his family was cared for, supported, and given opportunities to flourish.

After an accident changed Manuel's life 14 years ago, his strength continued to define him. His family was blessed with fourteen more years by his side—years in which he was able to witness the family he worked so hard for continue to grow and flourish upon the foundation he had built for them.

Manuel's legacy cannot be measured simply by the years of his life, but by the lives made better because he was here. It lives on in his wife, his children, his family, and in every accomplishment and opportunity made possible by his sacrifices. He will be remembered as the strongest, most loving, and smartest father, husband, and man his family could have asked for.

His family will forever carry with them the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the life he worked so hard to provide. He was deeply loved, will be profoundly missed, and will never be forgotten.
