Suddenly on the afternoon of October 12th, at the B.M.P. Hospital in Cowansville, QC, at the age of 92, surrounded by his family members at his bed side, passed away Joseph Charby. Beloved son of the late Clarence Charby and the late Gladys Rousseau.
Predeceased by his companion of 57 years Lydia Davis.
He leaves to mourn his son Teddy, his stepchildren, Colleen, Estalene, Donalda, late Dale, late Judy and late Richard, his brothers and sisters, Ronald (late Jane), late Kathleen (Bruce), late Johnny (Colleen), Jean (late René), late Doug (Estalene) and Brenda (Joe), many nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. There will be no visitation.
A graveside service at 11am on Saturday October 24th, 2026 at the Knowlton Protestant Cemetery.
The family wish to thank the Emergency staff at the B.M.P. Hospital for their good care, as well to Desourdy Funeral Home. A special thanks goes out to his doctor, Dr D. Desy for her years of care.
