Joyce Marie Wilson, 95, of Paris, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Heritage House of Paris.
She was born in Deport, TX, on April 29, 1931. Joyce had a long career working at Brookshire’s, A & P Grocery, Safeway, and Walmart. She retired and took care of her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Deport. An avid seamstress, she enjoyed making critter quilts, sewing, cooking for her family & others, and tending her garden & flower beds.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Larry Dean Wilson and Jerry Don Wilson, and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Lynn Wilson.
Survivors include a son, Terry Joe Wilson, two daughters-in-law, Faith Shaffer and Patti Wilson, grandchildren, Kim Blake & husband Curtis, Steven Wilson, Jeremy Wilson & spouse Eduardo Garcia, Matthew Wilson, and Natalie Wilson, great-grandchildren, Savannah Wintermute & husband Brian, Mallory Ramsey & husband Levi, Kaiser Schirman, and Brea Wilson, great-great-grandchildren, Annie Wintermute, Olivia Ramsey, and two upcoming great-great-grandsons.
She will be remembered fondly by her family and friends.
