Juan Lugo Roman, 84, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Born on December 19, 1941, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he lived a life marked by perseverance, hard work, deep family devotion, and a strong zest for living.
From humble beginnings, Juan embodied the American dream. He built and sold several businesses while maintaining a full-time career in sales and facilities management, later continuing as a landlord. His strong work ethic was matched by his belief in enjoying life fully.
Juan had a natural gift for bringing people together. Whether at the racetrack, dancing, cooking, or gathering with family, he embraced every opportunity to celebrate life. His home was always welcoming, his stories memorable, and his laughter contagious.
Behind his joyful presence was a man of quiet strength. He faced lifes challenges with dignity and rarely burdened others, instead offering comfort and wisdom. To his nieces and nephews, he was a trusted confidant and thoughtful voice whose words often left a lasting impression.
Above all, Juan cherished his family. He found his greatest joy in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandson, and his love was shown consistently through his presence and support.
Juan is survived by his daughters, Katherine Roman, Jacqueline Fenster (Jonathan), and Victoria Gorski (Michael); his grandchildren, Megan Davies and Luna Davies (children of Katherine Roman), and Colin Gorski (Alissa), Connor Gorski (Elonnie), Ethan Gorski (Kendall), and Ewan Gorski (children of Victoria and Michael Gorski); and his great-grandson, James Gorski. His siblings Rebecca and Benjamin.
