Judy Ann Mulvaney, aged 76, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026 from Parkinson’s Disease, which she faced with remarkable strength and grace.
Judy was born on November 16, 1949. She spent 35 yeas as a teacher for the Lansing School District and was also recognized for her service on the Delta Township Library Board. As an avid reader, Judy found great joy in books.
Judy found delight in the simple pleasures in life. She had a love of birds, flowers and puzzles. She had a gift for bringing people together and loved to entertain. She was a wonderful cook. Her grandsons were especially fond of her tacos with fried shells. Judy was a loyal MSU fan, always cheering on her beloved Spartans each basketball and football season. She loved to organize trips and in particular loved the memories she made with her children and later her grandchildren in Hilton Head over the years.
Judy was preceded in death by her son Nick and daughter Megan. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Jim Mulvaney; her daughter Maureen Van Glabbeek, and son-in-law Wim Van Glabbeek and grandsons James and Matthew.
