Judy Coleman

Judy Coleman, 82, of Hackett, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on September 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born on February 25, 1944, in Hackett, Arkansas, near the community she would eventually call home once again in 1983. She previously resided in Torrance, California, where she married her husband, Jack, and raised their four children.

Judy was a devoted homemaker and loving mother who dedicated her life to caring for her family and ensuring her children were always loved and well cared for. Her commitment to her family was at the heart of everything she did. She was also a member of New Providence Baptist Church on Slaytonville Road in Hackett, Arkansas.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack Coleman and her four children, Sherry Kaliff of Daggett, California, Jeff Coleman and his wife, Carol, of Van Buren, Arkansas, Jennifer Scott and her husband, Dan, of Greenwood, Arkansas and Ben Coleman of Greenwood, Arkansas. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday, October 2 at 10 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, followed by a graveside service at Old Union Cemetery in Hackett. Viewing will be held Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the graveside service, a reception will be held at New Providence Baptist Church.

The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Judy to join them in celebrating her life and honoring the memories they will forever hold dear.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Scott, Casey Scott, Jacob Coleman, Jackson Coleman, Dustin Simonetti and Milo Paker.
