Judy Kay Wilson (Robert), 82, of Palatka, FL concluded her courageous journey on June 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on December 26, 1943 to Leonard Robert and Violet Dickerson.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer for the third time, Judy remained positive and resilient. Among her many talents, she was an avid gardener, exceptional cook, and a skilled seamstress. She loved traveling and creating lasting memories with her family and friends, who were the center of her life. Her strength, kindness, and loving nature inspired everyone who knew her. Judy had an enormous heart for animals and a genuine desire to help others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard Robert and Billy Butler, sister Marie Hewes, and her sons Lenny and Earl Benjamin, and Doug Wilson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years John Bradley Wilson; sisters Alice Renee Roberts (Dick) and Jayna Ruth Simmons; daughters Judy Villareal (Al), Cheryl Bergeron, Joy Breaux (Darren), son Robert “Bobby” Wilson; grandchildren, Phillip (Brittany), Amanda (Adam), Micheal (Graham), Jeremy (Courtney), Bryan (Tiffany), Derrick, Corey, and David; sister-in-law Dorothy Shinafelt (Terry), and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Legacy Lodge, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, on June 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at the same location. A Committal Service will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
