It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of June Gaston, a beloved mother, mother-in-law, family member, friend, and cherished member of her community.June was a woman whose kindness knew no bounds. She spent her life putting others before herself, always offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or words of encouragement to anyone in need. Her caring and compassionate nature touched countless lives and created lasting memories for all who knew her.She was a devoted member of her church community and found great joy participating in church events and spending time with the many friends she made there. Her faith, generosity, and welcoming spirit were evident in everything she did.June also treasured her time at the cottage, where she found peace and happiness surrounded by nature, family, and friends. Some of her most cherished moments were spent enjoying quiet days by the water and creating memories with loved ones.A passionate traveler, June embraced every opportunity to explore new places, experience different cultures, and share her adventures with those around her. Her curiosity and love for life inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her.June leaves behind her devoted son, Derek Gaston, and her beloved daughter-in-law, Jessica Neszvecsko. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, including Tom and Linda Welsh and their children, Mark, Danielle, and Michelle, as well as extended family Kathy, Joyce, and Atilla, whom she loved dearly. June’s passing will also be mourned by her many relatives, dear friends, church community, and all those whose lives were touched by her remarkable kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for others.Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in the countless memories June leaves behind and the love she shared so freely throughout her life. Her legacy of compassion, faith, and selflessness will continue to live on in all who knew her.Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. ❤️The family will receive condolences at Valois United Church, 70 Belmont, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 4H2, on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. A service will be held at 1 p.m., followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated.
