Kenneth Lee Abel, 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. He was born April 7, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of LaVoy Frederick and Jo Ann (Stuffings) Abel.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his younger years, he participated in cross country and bike rides. As a die hard sports fan, he was a Philadelphia Eagles fan; and a season ticket holder to the Wichita Thunder Hockey games, being their 2025 season fan of the year.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his sister, Anita L. Tracy.
He is survived by: his brother, David (Kathie) Abel of Wichita, Kansas; his aunt, Sharon Montagne of Bellevue, Washington; his nephew, Dustin (Shellie) Knight; his niece, Cassandra (Joe) Maynard; along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
