Kevin Stone, 61, of Davie, Florida, passed away on September 25th, 2026 in Weston, Florida.
Kevin was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Jack Stone and Margaret Langdon Stone on June 1st, 1965. He went to school at Stranahan High and graduated from Broward Community College. He married Douglas Blanar on January 6th, 2015 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He worked in customer service for American Express for several years and was the President of the Arrowhead Homeowners Association.
Kevin was an easy-going guy who made friends wherever he went. He was Mr. Music and went to hundreds of concerts, shows, festivals and plays. He loved cooking and preparing several dishes to take to his sisters for Thanksgiving and Christmas. He loved a story with a twist ending, loved to go to Disney and antique shopping in Mount Dora. He was very devoted to his family and Doug’s family. He loved to garden in the backyard and had an infectious smile and laugh. He had four groups of friends from four major jobs- Barnett Bank, CD Warehouse, Barnes & Noble, and American Express. He struggled for almost two years and was not planning on giving up- our phone calls and texts have not stopped.
Kevin is preceded in death by father, Jack Stone; mother, Margaret Langdon Stone and her husband Jess Holshouser; father-in-law, Joe Blanar; mother-in-law, Meredith Blanar; brothers-in-law, Joe Blacketer and David Blanar; sister-in-law, Betsy Stone.
