Illana "Lana" Kessler, age 86, of Manalapan, New Jersey, passed on June 16, 2026. She was born on March 1, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York.
Lana is survived by her husband David Kessler; daughter Emily Kessler and her partner Scott Ettin; son Steven Kessler and his wife Audra Howarth; brother Richard Eisgrau and his wife Susan; and sister Diane Hurwitz.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on June 17, 2026 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Friends and extended family should arrive between 9:15am - 9:45am for the 10:00am funeral service. The burial will immediately follow at Mount Sinai Cemetery, 374 Route 79, Marlboro, New Jersey 07751.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of Lana and David after the burial.
