Larry Lee Hinsley

Larry Lee Hinsley, age 68, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 10, 1957, in Naples, Texas to the late Lawrence Melvyn "Mel" and Bobbie Evelyn Hinsley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Neil Harris Hinsley; and his daughter, Kristin Michelle Hinsley.

Larry was raised in Tullahoma, Tennessee, where he graduated from Tullahoma High School with the Class of 1975. He began his career as a paramedic in 1977 and went on to serve 20 years with the Nashville Fire Department, dedicating himself to serving the community until his retirement.

Following his retirement from the Nashville Fire Department, he worked for Ryder Logistics and Penske Logistics. He also contributed his skills at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, serving with LifeFlight Dispatch and later in Emergency Room Research.

Larry was a longtime member of Providence Baptist Church in Nolensville and enjoyed serving on the media team.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karol Hinsley; his son, Randall Hinsley and wife Brittany, and their daughter Brooklynn; his daughter, Angela Gale and husband Cory, and their children Annaleese and David; niece Nicole Rushing and husband John and their children; and niece Jill Hinsley and her son.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, May 29th, 2026 between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch Patton Funeral Home with Service to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Dignity Hall. Private Entombment to follow.
