Larry Odell Peart

Larry Odell Peart, age 74, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026.Larry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on June 3, 1952, and was most recently residing in Ponchatoula. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he worked as a skilled automotive mechanic for many years, using his hands and know-how to help others.He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell Peart and Faye Peart.He is survived by his sister, Sandra Paternostro; his two sons, Richard Peart and Randall Peart; as well as his extended family and dear friends who will miss him deeply.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering in Larry's honor on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home and Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124.
