Laura Lucille O'Reiley

Laura Lucille (Garity) O'Reiley died August 3, 2025, in Greeley, Colorado. The third child of fifteen born to James and Mary (Dant) Garity. Laura was born July 28, 1934, in rural Ringgold County, IA. Later the family moved to Afton, IA where Laura worked as a waitress at the age of 16. Laura married Robert Edward O'Reiley, of Creston, IA, at the age of 19. To this marriage came two children, Robert Charles, born June 13, 1958, and Claudia Colleen, born August 4, 1961. After working for 32 years for Coors Brewing in Golden Colorado, Laura retired at age 62. Laura is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sharlene (Merrill) O'Reiley, her son-in-law James Gilbert, grandchildren: Jennifer Gilbert, Daniel Gilbert, Robert O'Reiley Jr., Mathew O'Reiley, Jeanette O'Reiley, and Angelica O'Reiley, seven great grandchildren, brother Fred Garity, sister Teresa (Garity) Reynolds and many nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Garity, her husband Robert Edward O'Reiley, her daughter Claudia Colleen O'Reiley Gilbert, her son Robert Charles O'Reiley, and twelve siblings; brothers: Michael, Patrick, Richard, Edward, Joseph, David, Theodore Garity; sisters: Rose Mary Kneedler, Margaret Blazek, Helen Gillen, Martha Miller & Agnes Burton.
