Lazaro Hector Reid, our "Pappi," age 80, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on May 16, 2026. Born on December 17, 1945, in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico, Lazaro was a devoted father, son, brother, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving daughter Laura, his son David (Autumn), and his sister Lupe.
Lazaro was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Tommy, Brenna, Taylor, and Landon (Carly).
Lazaro was a man deeply cherished by all who knew him. As the leader of his family, a mentor, and a loyal friend, he touched countless lives with his kindness, wisdom, warmth and sense of humor. His presence brought joy and comfort to those around him, and he will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938, on June 2, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place on June 2, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
Lazaro’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He is now reunited with his loved ones in Heaven.
