It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Layman on Jul 28, 2026. A devoted matriarch, Linda’s love for her family and others was the cornerstone of her life, and her legacy of kindness and generosity remains an inspiration to all who knew her.
Linda was the beloved mother of Josh, Megan (Maiorana), and Matty Layman and mother-in-law to James Maiorana. Her greatest joy was found in her role as a grandmother to Annabelle, Victoria, Olivia, Daphne, and Phillip, each of whom she cherished deeply.
Family and friends are invited to honor Linda’s life at the funeral service held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 30th, at Bloomfield Cooper, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 78-00 Myrtle Ave, Glendale, NY 11385. The family will observe Shiva at the residence of Megan and James Maiorana, 212 Azalea Ct, Toms River, NJ 08753, on July 30 and 31.
