Loretta Blankenship. of Columbus, Ohio passed away Friday September 11,2026. She was born January 9, 1938. She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Madge Hale, brother Thomas Hale, sisters Dorothy "DeeDee" Hale, Thelma "BeeBug" Hale, and brother Raymond Hale. Her surviving siblings are Aretta Mouser, Doug Hale and Jeanne Lemon and honorary brother Steven Shirley and her honarary sister Edna Jasper. Her children are James (Andi) Blankenship, Sharon Blankenship, Karen Grady and Sandy Sparks. Grandchildren Jason (Heather) Blankenship, Joshua (Alicia) Grady, Ashley (Jorge) Cruz-Chavez, Matthew (Mary) Grady, Chelsea, Courtney and Shelby Sparks. She had several great-grand children.
Loretta loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchilden. She was a wonderful cook and made the best brownies and loved country music. She will be missed by many.
