Lorraine F. [Banaszak] Haberger, formerly of Hilton and Geneseo, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at the age of 89.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, John Haberger; her son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Marie Haberger; granddaughter, Jenny Haberger; great-grandson, Nick Haberger; and sister, Helen (Bill) Collins.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Randy) Clymo, and their children, Katie (Michael) Wilbert and Kevin Clymo (Debbie); daughter, Patty (Rocky) Ellsworth and their children: Patrick (Brianne) Ellsworth, Kristy (Tobi) Ellsworth, and Andy (Katie) Ellsworth; son, Joe (Robin) Haberger and their children: Heather Haberger, Joey Haberger, Amanda Majchrzak, and Erica Veatch; and her son Dick’s children: Rick (Karin), Brian (Desiree), Jay, Krystal, John, Laurie (Mike), and Dick Haberger; 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her sister, Irene Lodato; brother, James (Nancy) Warner, and sister-in-law, Marilyn Bailey; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lorraine greatly enjoyed a 35-year career as a school bus driver for the Hilton Central School District and area parochial schools.

One of the greatest joys in her life was working for many years at the Haberger Family farm stands at the Greece Ridge Market and the Chili Market on Westside Dr. She absolutely lived for the days she spent working at those markets.

Lorraine loved to travel, enjoying trips to Hawaii and Florida, but most especially to one of her favorite places, Disney. She also enjoyed many cruises with family. She took great pleasure in camping at Leisurewood, in Newstead, NY and always looked forward to a great cookout.

Baking cakes and making chocolates for the family were a special hobby of hers. She also enjoyed canning and sewing. In her free time, she was an avid bowler, winning many trophies over the years.

Above all else, she loved her family dearly and was devoted to her grandchildren, helping to raise many of them. She will be forever loved and missed.
